Much of the Borough is rural in character with the main settlement of West Bridgford sitting alongside the River Trent and smaller towns and villages dispersed throughout the area, several of which are the focus for growth. The Borough is experiencing high levels of growth and significant interest in housing development with a requirement to deliver 13150 new homes by 2028.
