An exciting opportunity has arisen at Rutland County Council to work in one of our busy adult social care community teams. As a Care Manager you will be working with vulnerable adults in the community to assess their needs and help them identify the best way to meet those needs. Our new roles have three levels enabling us to support you to progress your career in this exciting area of change following the introduction of the Care Act. We have Care Manager positions available to the right applicants in our Long Term & Review team.
You will be a health or social care professional, or perhaps come from a related background with a strong can do attitude and be passionate about social care; wanting to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable adults. It may be you have an NVQ3 in Care (or equivalent qualification) with some experience of working in social care and want to progress your career as a level one Care Manager. Our new Care Manager roles enable us as a local authority to help you progress through the three levels and beyond if that is what you choose to do.
