Salary: £22,467 – £33,160 + TLR2b per annum (pro rata for hours worked)

Location: To work in a designated locality based on the needs of the service

 

1 x Fixed Term, Full Time – 36.5 hours term time

1 x Fixed Term, Part Time – 16.25 hours term time

All posts are Fixed Term until 31st March 2019

 

To improve the educational outcomes for children aged 0 to 5 years by working with parents / carers as part of an integrated multi-agency team in a Children Young People and Family Centre cluster.

Requirements of the post:

– Support children’s developmental progress by working in partnership with parents, and supporting other practitioners to plan work with parents;

– Plan and support appropriate play and learning experiences for Looked After Children 0 to 4 years with their carers, and ensure all LAC have a Personal Educational Plan;

– Contribute to staff development for relevant staff;

– Take a lead for improving the quality of the Early Years Foundation Stage provision across a specific locality;

– Establish systems to review practice and measure the impact of service provision.

Essential job requirements:

– Qualified Teacher Status;

– in-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum;

– Knowledge of chid development birth to five years;

– Knowledge of relevant legislation including Special Educational Needs and protection of children / young people;

– Able to establish and maintain good working relations with parents and other professionals;

– Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing;

– Able to reflect on and develop own practice.
