We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a strong interest and commitment to planning. The post is based within the Development Management team.

You should be in the final year of study or have completed a Masters degree in Town Planning. We can offer you with a rewarding career in planning and will support you to achieve RTPI accreditation through a tailored career progression plan. Your salary will reflect your progression in competency and experience. For a successful candidate who is in their final year of study, we will consider a late start date (June) and flexible working arrangements to enable the completion of a dissertation.

As we are experiencing growth in our District, you will have a varied workload dealing with a broad range of applications that will ensure your development is sustained. Our achievements include modernising the design of our planning service, successfully maintaining high performance and helping deliver growth within Grantham.

You will be joining us at a crucial time in the delivery of our ambitious plans for growth.  Through your personal commitment, you will help us to promote a professional, customer orientated approach towards our planning service.
