£18,070 per annum

37 hours per week on a 3 week rota including one weekend in three

The Pavilion is a modern, vibrant Leisure Centre located in Huncote, Leicestershire and managed by Blaby District Council. The centre has a new state of the art 37 station gym and we are looking to recruit a Health & Fitness Instructor and Duty Officer, on a joint role, on a permanent basis.

In this role you will help support, to provide a safe and friendly environment to all users, providing inspiring fitness coaching, giving expert advice and guidance on all aspects of exercise. You will have a proven working knowledge of the Leisure industry within a service lead environment, and be passionate about customer needs and expectations along side a keen business viewpoint.

Highly enthusiastic and self motivated, you will deliver a first class service to our new and existing customers and possess excellent organisational and communication skills and be IT literate in Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a customer focused environment, possess REPS Level 2 qualification, a commitment to continued Continual Professional Development, and have a flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to varying situations.

The shift pattern will vary to suit the requirements of the service and includes working Daytime/Evenings and Weekends.

The post will require an Enhanced DBS Checks as the position involves working closely with children and vulnerable groups.
