An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) Team. This important role will lead the implementation and future development of the Growth Hub for Leicester and Leicestershire – the LLEP Business Gateway (

You will require significant experience and knowledge of local and national economic policy and the role of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), Growth Hubs and Business Support but more importantly have the motivation and initiative to drive forward the partnership’s objectives to support business growth across Leicester and Leicestershire.

The Economic Strategy Manager (Business Gateway) will manage all aspects of the Growth Hub with responsibility for the development, delivery, contract management, marketing and resource management (financial and people) of the project, working in a complex multi-partner delivery environment. They will also be charged with leading project evaluation as well as the initiation and implementation of a business case for financial sustainability.

All aspects of the SEP are inter-linked and therefore this role will need to build strong links with colleagues and stakeholders involved in delivering other programmes that deliver the LLEP’s strategic objectives.
