Full Time, Fixed Term contract until 31st March 2019
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) team. This important role will lead the development and implementation of the LLEP’s economic strategy with a particular focus on employment and skills.
You will require significant experience and knowledge of local and national economic policy and the role of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) but more importantly have the motivation and initiative to drive forward the partnership’s objectives.
The post is part funded through the European Structural and Investment Funds programme 2014-2020.
Requirements of the post:
- Substantial experience of developing and managing economic development policies and programmes relating to employment and skills;
- Extensive experience of developing and maintaining partnerships with local and national partners;
- Experience of managing European funding programmes;
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship building and networking skills.
