Members of the Leicester City Service enjoy working with schools, communities, children, parents and all partners who are crucial to the educational, psychological development and well-being of children and young people across the city. Opportunities exist to work in generic and specialist areas, including work with looked after children, the youth offending service and community based interventions and support. The service has Educational Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists as well as an excellent admin support team and is very friendly and supportive. The service works very closely with local specialist CAMHS and teaching services.
Requirements of the post:
- Professionally qualified
- Registered with the HCPC
- Subject to Enhanced DBS check.
The service is dedicated to the application of psychology supported through regular structured supervision and team meetings.
There is excellent IT support and office accommodation.
