You will hold a degree in Environmental Health or other relevant degree plus the Higher Certificate in Food Control. You must have a minimum of 2 years experience of food and health and safety enforcement and experience of working in a senior/management role.
You will lead a team undertaking food hygiene and health and safety inspections at a variety of premises, as well as dealing with private water supplies, accident investigations and infectious disease control.
The role will predominantly be within the commercial team, but you will need to contribute to other areas of the service such as private sector housing and environmental protection.
