This is a fantastic role, mixing delivery and strategy development. The Government’s recent Industrial Strategy put Growth Hubs at the centre of business support and confirmed continued support for them to expand and grow. We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced and driven individual to shape and develop the service to offer the businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire the best possible opportunity to access support to help them to become more productive and drive economic growth.

Working with Business, Universities, Local Authorities and a host of local and national business support providers, you will require strong knowledge of local and national economic policy, the role of Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs), Growth Hubs and Business Support. More importantly you will have the motivation and initiative to drive forward the partnership’s objectives to support business growth across Leicester and Leicestershire.

The Growth Hub Manager will manage all aspects of the Growth Hub with responsibility for the development, delivery, contract management, marketing and resource management (financial and people) of the project, working in a complex multi-partner delivery environment. You will be the key source of information for business support and play a lead role in developing the LLEP’s strategic approach to business support in response to the Industrial Strategy.

All aspects of the SEP are inter-linked and therefore this role will need to build strong links with colleagues and stakeholders involved in delivering other programmes that deliver the LLEP’s strategic objectives.
