Health Development Officer

This exciting jointly funded position provides a fantastic opportunity to work within both a Clinical Commissioning Group and Borough Council environment to influence programmes and policies.

Working in partnership with a range of organisations this important role will oversee the development and delivery of the Rushcliffe Health Partnership action plan, translating key priorities into local programmes to tackle health inequalities and improve the health and wellbeing of Rushcliffe residents.

We are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and an innovative approach to project development.   You will need excellent organisational, communication and partnership working skills as well as the ability to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

The successful applicant will need to have a broad understanding of government policy for health, experience of working in a health related environment and of developing and delivering multi-agency partnership initiatives and plans.

The successful candidate will be employed by Rushcliffe Borough Council and work from our modern new office base at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford as well as the NHS office base at Easthorpe House in Ruddington.
