ICT Infrastructure and Security Manager

The Council is looking to strengthen its infrastructure and security provision through the recruitment of a dedicated service manager. The role will form part of the ICT Senior Management Team and be responsible for all aspects of data and digital security, alongside maintaining the IT infrastructure and managing large scale implementations of new technology.

The Council has big digital ambitions and is seeking a highly skilled technical resource to match. We have committed to a new digital strategy and allocated increased funding to carry out a major step change in infrastructure. This role will is integral to our transformation journey and will support the implementation of significant channel shifting in the way both customers and staff interact with the Council.

We are predominantly a Microsoft site and as such, experience of working within that environment will be essential, as will a thorough working knowledge of PSN compliance and related workload. Our infrastructure is largely virtualised, with end user computing split between VDI and physical machines.

The district is one of the fastest growing areas in the UK and as such enjoys a high profile and notable investment.
