We have recently reviewed how we manage our larger improvement projects, which includes a  fantastic new opportunity for an enthusiastic person to coordinate and advise on project and programme management .

You are organised, a natural at multi-tasking, comfortable with numbers, working on excel, with meticulous attention to detail and a positive attitude. Using your excellent communication skills, you will develop strong working relationships with a wide range of individuals, equally at home attending senior management meetings presenting reports and supporting the Council’s programme of projects. You understand the importance of good governance, milestone setting, financial analysis, risk management, progress management and reporting. This role will be at the centre of promoting a culture of good project management and embedding the project management framework across the council.

The Main Council Offices are in a lovely little village called Narborough in Leicestershire which is just 3 miles from the M1, junction 21 and not far from the centre of Leicester.
