Quality Assurance and Compliance Assistant

Location: Bosworth House

 

Part Time – 15 hours per week, Fixed Term for up to two years

 

Following a reorganisation, the Contracts and Assurance Service within Adult Social Care, are seeking to recruit experienced administrative staff to support the contract management process of all Adult Social Care and Public Health services in Leicester City. These services include:

 

• Residential Care Homes;

• Domiciliary Care Services;

• Supported Living Services;

• Substance Misuse Services;

• Voluntary Community Services;

• Integrated Community Equipment Services.

 

The Contracts & Assurance Service works in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC), other local authorities, local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), Police, other Council departments and service users and their carers.

 

We are looking for committed and passionate individuals, with enthusiasm and determination to work as part of a Quality Assurance & Compliance Team through the provision of strong back office and administrative support functions.

 

Requirements of the post include:

– Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of Adult Social Care and / or Health Care and its implications for the successful delivery of services

– Good level of communication skills to deal with customers and clients face to face, on the telephone, via e-mail/letter, sufficient to explain complex concepts and gain acceptance of proposals

– Demonstrate skills needed to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service providers within a contractual relationship

– To accurately collate and document information

– Demonstrate skills needed to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service providers within a contractual relationship
