IT Service Desk Manager – South Lincolnshire – Competitive Salary & Benefits
South Kesteven District Council are currently looking for a Service Desk Manager to support the delivery of its strategic digital roadmap and continued service improvement.
Leading the IT Services support team, you will work closely with the team to manage the performance of our first and second line support services. You will ensure that service levels are achieved and customer expectations are met or exceeded.
You will be responsible for overseeing service desk requests, training and coaching service desk staff and reviewing and developing business level agreements.
You will have a wide skill set including:
- Appropriate level of knowledge of service desk solutions and the opportunities they represent
- Accomplished analytical, problem solving and change management skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts and terminology to be able to communicate effectively with technical professionals
