The Team Managers are an integral part of a leadership team who are both responsible and accountable for performance within an allocated team and wider service.
As a team manager, you will be required to provide formal and informal supervision to social workers in your team, assist them in the management of caseloads, chair a number of statutory child care meetings and use performance data to drive the quality of the work from your team.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience in managing staff, have confidence in providing responsive and clear advice to a number of social workers as part of supervision and have the skill and tenacity to work across the partnership to forge good relationships with colleagues in early help and across the wider partnership. You will either have a degree in Social Work, DipSW or CQSW and be registered with HCPC.
