Waste and Contracts Support Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our recently formed contracts hub. Rushcliffe prides itself in delivering high quality services and making Rushcliffe a great place to live. In order to achieve this we need to ensure some of the key contracts we have in place are performing well. These include leisure contracts, street cleansing and ground maintenance and vehicle maintenance.

A commitment to be the best is more important than formal contract qualifications for this role as we will ensure the successful candidate is mentored and developed to become the very best they can be. A flexible approach to work is essential and an eye for detail and excellent communication skills will be vital as you will need to quickly build relationships with others, from colleagues to clients and external contractors and suppliers.

As part of the role you will carry out day to day operational contract compliance monitoring to ensure required standards of service delivery are being maintained. This may be at a local leisure centre or outside at one of our parks or in our town centres. You will liaise directly with our residents over any concerns they may have and help in producing reports and attend meetings with contractors.

The post offers the opportunity to learn and to develop your existing skills and help you make a real contribution to the lives of our residents.

If you feel you have the qualities outlined in the above post then you can obtain further details and apply online by visiting our web site at www.rushcliffe.gov.uk/jobs
