We’re seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our Community Safety Service as an Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer. This is a dynamic and varied role where you’ll take the lead in managing and investigating reports of anti-social behaviour, conducting risk assessments, gathering evidence, issuing official documentation, and working closely with our Legal Team on enforcement actions, including court attendance and issuing fixed penalties. You’ll also support vulnerable individuals, ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed and relevant referrals are made to partner services. With a focus on delivering outstanding customer care and adhering to performance targets, you’ll maintain accurate case records and contribute actively to team performance and service delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to build strong community and partnership relationships by maintaining a visible presence in local areas, attending meetings and events, and collaborating with internal teams, the police, and other stakeholders to improve neighbourhood safety. You’ll play a key part in developing policies, promoting service improvements, and representing the Council in various forums, from tenant groups to courtrooms. If you’re passionate about community wellbeing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
