Boston Borough Council are recruiting for Market Stall Erectors.
The role will be based in Boston, you will primarily undertake the erection and dismantling of market stalls/gazebos. Other duties include clearing & tidying of the market areas and assisting the Markets Officer. Other duties include:
To remove and replace all equipment from and onto trailers provided for the purpose of storing and transporting such equipment.
To dismantle all equipment at the end of each market and return all equipment to trailers provided for the purpose of storage and transportation.
Provide a fit for purpose, high performing, markets service.
The work is physically demanding and requires working outside in all weathers.
The role will require working hours of 6am – 8am Wednesday & Saturday to erect the Market and 4pm – 6pm Wednesday & Saturday to dismantle the market.
Due to a short period of change within the Market service, this post will initially involve working Tuesday and Friday evenings between 4pm -6pm to erect the Market and 4pm-6pm Wednesday & Saturday to dismantle the market.
Some additional weekend/evening working may be available occasionally for special markets/events.
