Class Teacher (KS1 or EYFS)

An opportunity has arisen for a EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join our team. Due to this being a maternity cover, initially this is a fixed term position beginning 19^h May 2025 

Applications are welcomed from both experienced and ECTs. 

We are looking for a part-time class teacher, who will teach in our Reception class Monday-Tuesday with the possibility of teaching PPA cover across the school on Wednesday.

• Possess qualified teacher status
• Be able to establish excellent relationships with children and parents, promoting aspirational achievement and progress for all groups of pupils 
• Believe that all pupils, regardless of their background are capable of reaching their full potential
• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
• Be able to take a lead role in a curriculum area and have a positive influence (please state your preferred curriculum area) 
• Have recent experience of teaching in Reception or Year 1.
• Possess the knowledge and skills to effectively teach in mixed age classes.
