The Opportunity
Working closely with a team of other professionals, you will be shaping an exciting new service that will support the needs of children, young people and families in Derby City. Intervention First is a new programme providing targeted and specialist support to the under 7’s who may have a range of complex SEND. Your role will be to work in a holistic way with their families to understand and support the wider needs they may have around access to education and wider social inclusion needs.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have…
Graduate level qualification or equivalent with outlined professional registration of either HCPC or BCAP in the appropriate therapies.
Demonstratable expertise and practice with highly vulnerable young people and their families.
The ability to shape and develop a service based on best practice and local needs.
An unrelenting drive to support children and young people have the best outcomes in life.
