We are looking to recruit 2 full time gardeners to work as part of the Borough’s Grounds Maintenance Team based at Kimberley Depot.
The work involves the full range of amenity horticultural work including maintenance of Parks, Open Spaces, Highway verges and Cemeteries.
We are looking for people with experience of:
- Relevant horticultural and maintenance work
- Working flexibly to provide a high quality customer focused service
- Using a full range of horticultural machinery
The ideal candidates should:
- Have a relevant horticultural qualification or experience in this area of work
- Have good communication skills
- Be self-motivated and committed to improve standards
- Be committed to work outside in all weather conditions
- Have a current driving licence and ability to drive a light commercial vehicle (Class B)
- Have spraying certificate Pa1-Pa6a
- Be aware of Health and Safety issues
- Be somebody who represents our GREAT values and behaviours
