Shelton Junior School is a vibrant, inclusive primary school committed to providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for all our students. We believe every child has the potential to thrive and are dedicated to fostering positive behaviours that will help them develop emotionally, socially, and academically.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Behaviour Coach to join our caring team, working closely with pupils to support their emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

As our Learning Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students who may experience challenges with behaviour and emotional regulation. You will work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and parents to implement behaviour strategies that support both the individual child’s needs and the school’s commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment for all. Your role will involve providing direct support to children, delivering interventions, and helping to create an inclusive, calm, and nurturing school environment.

We can offer the successful applicant the opportunity to work with polite and hard-working children in a friendly and welcoming environment that is dedicated to staff development and works well in partnership with parents. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share in this. The successful candidate will therefore require an enhanced DBS clearance.
