AIR QUALITY OFFICER
12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Scale 4 £28,163 – £31,586 Per Annum
Full Time, 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Air Quality Officer to join our Environmental Services Team to deliver projects relating to air quality within the District of Blaby.
Duties will include the implementation and delivery of a project funded by DEFRA, looking at particulate matter within the district and assisting the Council with delivery of its Air Quality Action Plan. Also, to assist with a review of smoke control areas in the district and associated policies and procedures.
The role will undertake a variety of air quality related tasks, and you should be looking to provide a high quality, customer focused service and achieving positive public health outcomes.
It is essential that you work meticulously, pay attention to detail and have excellent communication and IT skills. You will also need to hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle to use for work purposes.
