About you…
· A degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration
Knowledge of Child-care legislation
Skilled in the management of risk and assessment of children’s needs
Great communication skills, able to explain complicated information simply
Knowledge of the issues that affect parenting capacity and the impact of deprivation on child development
Experience of Signs of Safety methodology
About the role…
· To work as part of the team delivering services to Children in care, assessing their needs and developing specialized individual care plans that address their wellbeing, development and promote the achievement of the best possible outcomes for them.
Advocate for the children and young people in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected in meetings and other settings.
Working together with foster carers, families, other professional agencies to provide a consistent and effective support for children and young people in care.
The successful applicants for these posts will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS and Social Work England registration are paid by us.
Please note: the successful candidates will have a full driving licence to enable them to travel across the county.
