Human Resources Administrator

Salary: £25,584 – £27,269
Location: Oakham, Rutland

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join our enabling service, providing essential support to managers and staff. This is a versatile role, offering a fresh and dynamic experience in human resources administration each day.

The Administrator post is an integral part of the HR team that acts as a first point of contact and provides support to the HR Team for specific areas of the employee lifecycle. We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of effective and efficient administration with the ability to work to tight deadlines when necessary.  Someone who is comfortable working within established protocols and policies but can also recognise areas for improvement in processes.  They will understand the importance of confidentiality and diplomacy whilst ensuring customer service is vital to our internal and external customers.

About you…

  • Educated to at least A’ Level or Level 3/4 standard
  • Experience in working in a customer focused environment
  • Excellent IT skills using MS office applications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines
    Able to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality

About the role…

  • To undertake HR administration for the whole employee life cycle including recruitment, payroll,       employee contract changes
  • Monitor the HR Service desk, triage ‘calls’,  and respond to 1st and 2nd level queries
  • Provide support to the wider HR team
