Monday: 3.45pm – 7.15pm
Tuesday: 3.45pm – 7.30pm
Thursday: 3.45pm – 7.45pm
Friday: 3.45pm – 7.15pm

Dependant on the successful recruitment to the posts it may be necessary to appoint an additional candidate/s to backfill posts at interview.
North East Derbyshire District Council is inviting applications for a Swimming Teacher to join our successful and ambitious Leisure Services Team.
Dronfield Sports Centre is sited in the town centre and comprises of sports halls, swimming pools, health and fitness suites, squash courts, meeting room and café.
The post is to deliver swimming lessons to all ages and abilities in accordance with the Council’s swimming tuition programme. To be successful, applicants will require the Swim England (SE) or STA Level 2 teaching certificate, the RLSS NPLQ (10th Edition) or RLSS NRASTC or willing to work towards completing this qualification, together with knowledge and experience of either the SE or STA Swimming Teaching programmes.
The post is 14.75 hours a week. The Council allows 15 minutes both prior to and following lessons for lesson preparation and clearing up for. There is also admin time built in to the hours. The successful candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
The postholder is subject to a Disclosure carried out by the DBS at the Enhanced Level, due to the nature of the role.
