South Derbyshire District Council is investing in its Housing Service to provide quality homes and services for tenants and the residents of South Derbyshire.

Housing Services are looking for a Project Officer with previous experience of working in repairs within the Housing sector. This role will play a major part in ensuring the safety and security of the homes that the Council provides. You will work closely with our other Project Officers and other members of the Council across a variety of departments.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of an effective, efficient, and compliant Repair and Maintenance service through the provision of housing stock data management and services to ensure the Council remain statutory compliant. Excellent general building knowledge, understand and be able to carry out Housing health and safety rating system (HHSRS) surveys, and knowledge of Damp, Mould, and Condensation is vital for this role.
The successful candidate must be computer literate, have experience using Microsoft Office with excellent skills in Excel and a valid driving license.
