The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a flexible, hardworking, friendly and caring SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our committed and supportive team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to use initiative in dealing with situations effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Good levels of Literacy and Numeracy.
- Ability to maintain relevant pupil records as required and feedback to the class teacher.
- Ability to prepare equipment and resources for the children under direction of the class teacher.
- A sense of humour, empathy with children of primary school age, a caring personality and confidential nature.
The post involves working five mornings (9.00am – 12.15pm).
