The children, staff and Governors of Denby Free CoE VA Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic breakfast club leader & teaching assistant to join our supportive and dedicated team. We are looking for one candidate to take on both of these roles.
The hours of work will be:
Breakfast Club Leader role 4 hours and 30 minutes 5 per week, 7.00am – 8.30am Monday to Wednesday (this will initially be 7 hours and 30 minutes hours per week, 7.00am- 8.30am Monday – Friday to cover sickness.)
Teaching and Learning Assistant role 17 hours and 30 minutes per week, 8.30am to 12 noon Monday -Friday.
The post is a fixed term contract from January 2025 until August 2025 in the first instance, although it is hoped that the post will continue for the academic year 2025-2026 subject to funding and pupil numbers.
The successful candidate will prepare breakfast and deliver activities for the children who access our Breakfast Club. This role also involves preparing snack, liaising with parents and staff, and clearing away at the end of each session. You will have excellent knowledge, experience and understanding of primary education, and ideally experience of supporting the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs through strong inclusive values. We are looking for a highly capable, experienced candidate, who can work across the primary age range and who has experience of working with pupils with SEND.
