Benefits and Admin Support Team Leader

Salary: Salary Grade 6 i.e. £32,654 to £35,235 per annum
Location: Worksop

Our Benefits Unit administers Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction.

Located in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, we are looking for an individual to lead a dedicated team of benefits, revenues and administrative support staff. As part of this role, you will be required to provide complex information to customers, respond to appeals and provide training to members of the team. You must therefore have a strong knowledge and understanding of housing benefits and council tax reduction regulations and have significant experience of working in a benefits and administration environment both at a senior level.

You may be required to work in other units of the Directorate and also attend evening meetings and forums.

Please note that the priority 2 and 3 requirements are not essential as training can be given.
