Working Pattern:
Week 1 – Monday/Tuesday (15 Hours)
Week 2 – Monday/Tuesday/Friday (22 Hours)
 
Location:  Central Headquarters, Ripley
   
Are you interested in joining our busy Community Support Team?
 
The successful candidate will provide a range of customer facing services to the people of Amber Valley across a variety of Council services.
 
Duties will include:
 

Handling phone calls from the public on a range of matters and giving advice in relation to those matters.
Handling phone calls regarding the Waste and Recycling Service and use of the Council’s Waste Management System.
Provide support to the Pest Control, Dog Control, and Envirocrime functions of the Council.
Accurately inputting service requests into the Council’s database.
Postal duties.
Scanning and archiving of documents.

 
Applicants should have excellent customer care and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.  All systems require a good level of keyboard skills and the ability to work as a productive member of a busy team is essential.
 
Although a knowledge of local environmental quality issues would be advantageous, on the job training will be provided for all duties.
