Grange Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Grange Primary School. This post will initially be based in Year 3 in the mornings and working in our Rainbow room specialist provision in the afternoons. There may be scope to extend this role after August 2027.

We are looking for someone who:
This position is classroom based in the mornings, under the direction of a class teacher, supporting a child to access the Year 3 curriculum by modelling and adapting the learning tasks as appropriate. You may also be expected to lead interventions both 1:1 and in small group situations that have been planned by the class teacher. On occasion, you may be required to participate in meetings that concern the educational provision for the children you support.
We welcome applications from teaching assistants who have had previous experience supporting children with SEND. Applicants will be able to demonstrate their passion for SEND and be able to clearly articulate the impact and importance of both high-quality teaching and access to the curriculum for SEND children.
Interviews for the above positions will be held on 9 and 10 July 2026.
