Teaching and Learning Assistant (KS2 based)

We wish to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is dedicated to enabling pupils to achieve their personal best.

The successful candidate will: 

• Have experience of working with children across the school setting.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Prepare learning materials and adapt teaching support according to children’s needs.
• Look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare- including first aid duties.
• Be creative and innovative.
• Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
• Be committed to promoting and upholding the school values and ethos.
• Promote and support the inclusion of all pupils, including those with specific needs.
• Is motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and make a genuine difference.
• Uses initiative to assess and evaluate pupils’ needs.
• Leading intervention groups.
• Additional HLTA are available for candidates interested in this opportunity.
