Assets and Compliance Support Officer

Salary: £26,824 to £28,142
Location: Nuneaton

We are currently recruiting for an Assets and Compliance Support Officer to deliver excellent customer service and support function to the Assets and Compliance Team including technical support, dealing with enquiries, work scheduling, making appointments and related administrative tasks.

  • Responsible for the processing of all claims, insurance liabilities and to ensure that debtor’s account arising from rechargeable repairs are monitored for the recovery of costs
  • Assist in the monitoring of customer feedback, extracting the performance of external contractors in respect of customer satisfaction levels
  • Assist in ensuring compliance for gas services and maintenance are carried out with the administration of CP12 certificates and no access enforcement processes
  • Liaise with external contractors with regard to programmes or works.
  • Responsible for raising, processing and paying works orders, and invoices in line with authorised limit and reconciliation valuations.
  • Arrange and manage appointments for Council officers and contractors to carry out inspections and works
  • Assist with preparation of asbestos information for programmes of works and place orders in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Previous experience of undertaking administrative duties
  • Previous experience of dealing directly with customers, particularly over the telephone
  • Experience in using Microsoft Word or Excel (medium to advanced level)
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise own work
  • A thorough methodical and committed approach to work
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to work with other team members and on own initiative
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience and sensitivity in dealing with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to plan own workload and make sound judgement when making decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and be able to adapt behaviour to effectively deal with customers/stakeholders
  • Housing Qualification to NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards
  • Qualifications in English Language or Mathematics at NBQ Level 2 or equivalent
