We’re looking for a proactive and organised Disrepairs Officer to join our Assets and Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing housing disrepair cases across our council housing stock, helping to protect tenants, reduce risk, and ensure the Council meets its legal and regulatory obligations.
There are 2 roles available – a Permanent role and a 12 months Fixed Term role. Please ensure you state clearly on your application form which role you are applying for.
You will manage a varied caseload from initial notification through to resolution. Working closely with surveyors, contractors, legal services, and residents, you will coordinate inspections, oversee remedial works, monitor progress, and ensure cases are resolved efficiently and effectively.
