We are looking to appoint a friendly enthusiastic caring and highly motivated early years teaching assistant to work with our EYFS children in our nursery and reception classes!
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience of working with EYFS children through a play based curriculum.
- is patient caring and enthusiastic with a positive and proactive attitude.
- works well as part of a team and values collaboration.
- has experience in working to a timetable in order to help children regulate themselves.
- has experience of working with children with speech and language needs.
- has experience following Send support plans/EHCP targets.
- attending meetings with professionals and supporting parents.
- is able to support children’s personal hygiene.
- has experience in delivering an individualised learning programme in conjunction with the class teacher.
- has experience in adapting planning to suit the children’s specific needs.
- has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- holds high expectations for pupils achievement and behaviour
- holds a level three qualification related to supporting children in EYFS.
Hours of Work:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 3.20pm
Tuesday 8.00am – 3.20pm
Provisional Interview Date: Week commencing 4 October 2026
