Estates Surveyor

Broxtowe Borough Council is seeking a proactive, organised and experienced Estates Surveyor to join the Estates team within the wider Asset Management & Development Team.

Reporting to the Estates Manager you will support in the delivery of efficient and effective management of the Councils corporate property estate. The role requires the ability to balance competing priorities, maintain momentum across a busy work programme, and respond effectively to emerging issues.  You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver the Councils aims and objectives.

We’re looking for an individual who has experience in:

• Landlord and Tenant matters.
• Working within public sector setting.
• Managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Monitoring case loads and managing the processes surrounding successful property management.

The ideal candidate would be:

• Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively.
• An excellent communicator, with a collaborative and customer focused approach.
• Qualified in surveying, property, or a related discipline (or able to demonstrate equivalent experience).
• Someone who represents and demonstrates our GREAT values and behaviours.

What you need to know:
This post is a designated car user role and requires regular site attendance. Occasional evening or out of hours working may be required to support service delivery.
