Communications and Marketing Project Officer

Salary: 36,961 – 38,806
Location: Beeston, Nottingham

We’re looking for someone to join a busy team with a proven track record in planning, delivering and evaluating creative integrated communications and marketing campaigns and support delivery of the some of the Council’s key projects such as the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum, events, economic development, investment, behaviour change and climate change.

You’ll get the chance to work across a wide variety of projects, spanning a range of departments across the Council, providing meaningful and engaging communications that have a real impact on Broxtowe’s communities. It’s also a highly social role, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with colleagues across the Council, as well as residents, business owners, external partners and councillors. Working with other members of the Communications Team, the successful candidate will have excellent skills across a wide range of marketing, public relations and media engagement, planning, writing and filming engaging content for different audiences and both digital and traditional channels. They will also be able to demonstrate strong project management skills to deliver co-ordinated communications for multi-million-pound projects for both internal and external audiences.

Stakeholder management will also be a key part of the role to ensure that local people, as well as elected members, employees, partners and the media understand what developments are taking place and what it means for them.
