Candidates must possess the necessary right to work authorisation to enable them to work for Chesterfield Borough Council. Regrettably, we are unable to provide sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa at this juncture.
We are looking to recruit a parking attendant to join the team at Chesterfield Brough Council.
This vacancy is for 15 hours per week, worked across 2 days. The ability to cover additional days for leave, sickness and training is required.
General duties include assisting in the day to day operation of our car parks, including cash collection from all our sites and cash handling and permit sales. This is not a parking enforcement role.
Additional duties include cleaning of sites, basic maintenance to machinery, health & safety inspections on sites, pro-active and hands on site management and the ability to communicate effectively with all our customers.
You will need to be physically fit and be able to carry reasonably heavy loads over short distances, a flexible approach to work will be required as the role is variable over 7 days.
A full, clean driving licence is required.
