Charnwood Borough Council is looking for a motivated and experienced Housing Income Officer to join our Housing Income Team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Role Overview:
You’ll manage a patch of around 1,160 homes across urban and rural communities, taking a proactive approach to rent collection, preventing arrears and working with tenants to find practical solutions when financial difficulties arise.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with experience in income management, credit control or a similar environment who can balance support with appropriate enforcement. You’ll be confident managing a busy caseload, making sound decisions and taking action to achieve positive outcomes.
With knowledge of welfare benefits, debt and money management, you’ll help tenants access appropriate support while remaining focused on performance and maximising rental income for the Council.
