Do you have a passion for live performances and exceptional customer service? Loughborough Town Hall, is a multi-purpose receiving house theatre, Art gallery and venue, set in the heart of Charnwood in Leicestershire, welcoming over 100,000 people per year. The Town Hall is home to and annual program of over 250 exciting events—including our award-winning pantomime— and we now invite you to be part of our vibrant Operations team.
We take pride in offering a diverse program featuring acclaimed acts from comedy to musical theatre, and we recently earned the title of Best Entertainment Venue at the Leicestershire Tourism Awards 2023.
As the welcoming face of our venue, you’ll play a crucial role in creating unforgettable experiences for our audiences. On any given day you could be scanning tickets, guiding guests to their seat, serving drinks at our bar, hawking ice creams in the auditorium, helping host weddings or assisting with merchandise sales; no two days will be the same.
An ideal candidate will have a friendly and approachable manner with the ability to communicate effectively. You must be able to multitask, and problem solve whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. Previous experience within a hospitality setting would be preferable, but full training will be provided.
The nature of the work will require flexibility across a busy programme of shows and events, involving evening and weekend working.
We are currently recruiting for our busy Christmas period so it is essential that you are able to work during key dates such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Years Eve.
If you’re enthusiastic, customer-focused, and ready to dive into the dynamic world of performing arts, we want to hear from you! Join us in making every visit a memorable one at Loughborough Town Hall.
