We’re looking for a committed and proactive Floating / Multi-Storey Caretaker to help maintain our housing estates and high-rise residential buildings across the city.
This varied role combines hands-on caretaking within multi-storey blocks with mobile estate-based work across a range of neighbourhoods. One day you may be carrying out inspections, cleaning communal areas and supporting safety checks in a high-rise building. The next, you could be travelling between estates, maintaining external environments, monitoring grounds maintenance standards and responding to estate-related issues.
As a highly visible member of the Housing team, you’ll play an important role in ensuring residents live in clean, safe and well-managed communities. You’ll work closely with tenants, leaseholders, colleagues and contractors, taking pride in maintaining high standards and identifying issues before they escalate.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, can work independently, adapts to changing priorities and takes a positive, customer-focused approach to service delivery.
