Making Good Decisions Together

Due to the current Headteacher’s well-deserved retirement the pupils, staff and Governors of this friendly and inclusive small rural Church school are looking for an enthusiastic Headteacher. We are looking for someone with warmth and energy to continue to build upon the School’s achievements ideally with SENCO knowledge and experience.

We are a school who are proud of our family ethos, and we embrace the outdoors, making the most of the natural resources in the surrounding environment. Based 5 miles from Buxton, a spa town nestled in the centre of the beautiful Peak District, we are proud to be part of the farming community.

We can offer:

  • A friendly happy learning environment
  • Dedicated staff who are a highly skilled team
  • A school who are proud of our achievements in particular in relation to neurodiversity
  • Supportive and committed parents and Governing body
  • Exceptional pastoral care underpinned by a strong Christian ethos
  • Open door policy for parents

In return we are looking for a motivated and adaptable leader who is confident in delivering cross-curriculum teaching and learning and can provide strategic leadership. We want someone who really ‘gets’ the school and works and leads in line with our values.

If you’re passionate about education, thrive in a supportive community, and are ready to make a real difference to the lives of young learners, we invite you to join us at Earl Sterndale C of E Primary School. Apply now and be part of something truly special.

Visits to the school by arrangement are warmly welcomed – please contact us on 01298 83263 Please also visit our website for further details of the school – https://www.earlsterndaleschool.co.uk/

Committed to safeguarding the welfare of our children.
