Social Worker (Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team)

We are looking to recruit a qualified Social Worker to join the Short – Term Assessment and Reablement Team , to work across South Derbyshire. 

We welcome applicants with a Social Work qualification and with experience of working in an Adult Social Work team setting. To be able to demonstrate an ability to work with a person centred and strength based approach to achieve the ideal outcomes with people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and communities is essential. Experience of a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary working is required to support people to return home or remain in their own homes following a period of ill health or change in needs. 

The candidate will need to have a knowledge of current legislation, policy and procedures that underpin good practice, and an understanding and experience of Safeguarding principles will be essential.
