The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Human Resources team as a Level 3 HR Apprentice. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience in various HR functions while working towards a recognised qualification.

As an apprentice you’ll be welcomed into a supportive environment where teamwork and mutual respect drive our success. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to initiatives that enhance our workplace culture and HR services. Our apprenticeship is a paid, full-time role, with one day per week dedicated to “off the job” training.

Day to day, you will support the People Management team to deliver a range of HR services and initiatives including recruitment, the on-boarding process and the administration of payroll and sickness records. You will also assist with handling employee queries and support HR projects.

The successful candidate will be based at our head office in Bakewell.

About You
You will need to have a keen interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources with the commitment to complete the apprentice training programme. You should be able to handle confidential information with discretion, have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to use Microsoft office packages such as Word, Excel and email. Previous experience of working in an administrative role would be beneficial although not essential.

About Us
We have a positive and friendly culture within our HR team and pride ourselves on working collaboratively, not just within our team but across the entire organisation. We regularly share knowledge and best practices, ensuring everyone feels empowered to grow and succeed. Everyone is encouraged to share their ideas to improve both our team and the delivery of our service.

The Peak District National Park was the first of Britain’s 15 national parks and is still enjoyed by millions, looking for both adventure and a breathing space to escape. We recognise the importance of our national park and our job is to speak up and care for the Peak District National Park for all to enjoy forever.
