Class Teacher – Lower KS2

The Governors of Renishaw Primary School wish to appoint a, talented, enthusiastic and creative class teacher to join our dedicated and supportive staff team following our recent Ofsted. 

Renishaw Primary was recently judged by Ofsted as a school Requiring Improvement and we are looking for the successful candidate to bring a fresh inspiring feel to a team full of potential and to support whole school curriculum development. 

We are a thriving village school with the children and families we serve at the heart of everything we do. We are very supportive of staff development with a fine reputation for succession planning, coaching/mentoring and promoting Mental Health and Wellbeing through our caring and nurturing school community ethos. 

The successful candidate will be someone who can:

• Lead by example as an outstanding class teacher with an appetite for further career progression.
• Demonstrate a strong curriculum knowledge in all areas of the primary curriculum
• Foster excellent supportive relationships with staff, parents/carers and of course, children.
• Uphold strong Safeguarding practice
• Coordinate school curriculum development in a subject area
