Child Protection Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint to the position of a Child Protection manager within our Child Protection service. 

The successful applicant will have a primary focus on:

  • Chairing complex child protection conferences in accordance with current legislation, guidance and departmental policies and procedures ensuring all children and young people are able to make a meaningful and age appropriate contribution to the conference. 
  • Ensuring that the voice of the child/ children is actively promoted and that their wishes and feelings are given due consideration, whilst working in partnership with parents/ carers and other professionals. 
  • Ensuring that plans of protection for children and young people are based on detailed and informed assessment and are robust to ensure the safety of children and their individual needs are met.
