School Crossing Patrol – (Central Derbyshire/Amber Valley)

Do you enjoy talking to people in your local community?
Are you interested in the safety of our local children?
Are you available during school term time but not looking for full-time work?

✅If the answer is yes, then why not consider becoming one of our dedicated School Crossing Patrols — also known as Lollipop People 

You’ll help children and members of the community cross the road safely, encouraging walking and a healthier lifestyle ‍♀️

 What we’re looking for:

• No formal qualifications needed ❌
• A natural rapport with children and adults ️
• Awareness of road safety
• Physically fit and well
• We welcome applications from people with neurodivergence and learning disabilities 

 We’ll provide full training and support so you can confidently manage traffic and keep everyone safe

 What we offer:

• Paid throughout school holidays
• Support from experienced supervisors
• Average of 5–8 hours per week
