What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of electoral services, from maintaining the electoral register to supporting the delivery of local and national elections and referendums. As you grow in the role, you’ll take on more responsibility and even step in for the Electoral Services Manager when needed.
You’ll also get the chance to build your expertise through professional training, including the Association of Electoral Administrators Foundation Course and the Certificate in Electoral Administration. The role is career graded to support the development of the successful postholder. This is a career-graded role that grows with you—designed to support your development, build your confidence, and help you step into greater responsibility as you progress.

Due to the nature of the role, you’ll be expected to remain politically neutral and during busy election periods, you’ll need to be flexible with your hours—including some evenings/weekends.

Salary: £25,992 to £27,711 career bar £30,060 to 32,654 p.a. pay award pending
Location: Wingerworth, near Chesterfield with hybrid home working options
